Story Behind
Joginder Singh's vision to assist underprivileged but ambitious and industrious students in achieving their academic goals began in 1979, and it is very much a reflection of his struggles to a very successful career in satellite technology.
He has provided financial aid in fees, disbursements and academic learning materials to successfully pave the way for careers in the sciences, engineering, law and medicine.
Joginder sees unparalleled gratification gained from such achievements and now wishes for the next generations of the Degun family to personally continue with this worthy cause hence driving a passion for DECI to instil the ethos of education into the children.
DECI vision will focus on the underprivileged students with the aim of identifying students for the primary and secondary schools in a focused area in USA, UK, Kenya and India.
Students will be reached out personally and through institutions with prospects of partnering with schools for students that will be from low economic status so that sponsorship to schools can be set up with direct payment structure where possible.
